Slough Heat and Power combined heat and power (CHP) plant in Berkshire was acquired by SSE in January 2008. It is the UK's largest dedicated biomass plant which burns wood chips, biomass and waste paper. The plant supplies steam and hot water to local businesses.
SSE has announced Keltbray as its principle contractor for the demolition of part of the Slough Heat and Power Plant on the Slough Trading Estate.
