SSE response to Ofgem changes to the Priority Services Register

A spokesperson for SSE said:

“We have a duty of care for our customers, especially those in vulnerable situations, and we welcome Ofgem’s efforts to strengthen the Priority Services Register.

“Vulnerability comes in different guises, that’s why we’re working with the British Standards Institution to make sure we have the processes in place to identify those who need extra support and adapt the services we offer to customers to make sure we can meet their individual needs.”
